How do I set up communications with a PayClock PC100 time clock?
The PC100 time clock should be connected to the LAN before proceeding. The Setup Assistant is used to establish the communications between PayClock Online and the PC100 time clock connected to the LAN.
- From a computer that is on the same network as the PC100 time clock, download and run the Setup Assistant.
- Select Next on the start screen. Accept the license agreement and select Next.
- Enter your email address or Company ID, User ID and then the Password provided for PayClock Online.
- Select Login to verify your credentials. The migration step will display.
- Select the desired option and choose Next.
- Select the desired payroll product and chose Next.
- Select the PC100 time clock option and choose Next.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and restart the computer if prompted.
After installing the Setup Assistant you will need to discover the PC100 on the network.
- From the computer where the Setup Assistant is installed, click on the PayClock Agent icon.
- From the menu select 'Manage Terminals' and then 'Discover Terminals'.
- The Terminal Discovery window will open. When the PC100 time clock is discovered, choose the Create button.
- The PC100 time clock will be added to PayClock Online and will be ready for use.
